Role
To support the Financial Controller (FC) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the daily operations of the Finance department, including supporting client set-up/invoicing in SalesForce, assisting client payment follow up, and processing supplier invoices for payment.
Qualifications and experience
- Preference for Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, but not necessary
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions
- Proven ability in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable
- Successful track record within a professional services environment
Report to
Financial Controller
Key relationships
- Works collaboratively with the Finance Team
- Works collaboratively with employees across all of the teams
Responsibilities
- Daily data entry of supplier invoices and expense claims
- Monitor and prepare payment of creditors for authorisation by the FC/CFO
- Accurately reconcile cash balances daily at bank, with any anomalies and discrepancies identified and resolved
- Receipt debtor payments and allocate to client in Xero
- Assist with debtor follow up
- Assist with set-up of new clients and contracts, and assist conduct exception audits in SalesForce
- Assist with the preparation of monthly invoicing of our clients using SalesForce
- Reception assistance as required

Key competencies
Technical
- Solid foundation of technical skills, including: bookkeeping and accounts management, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable.
- High level of computer literacy with proven experience with Xero, Excel and Word. Preference of experience with SalesForce, but not essential.
- Outstanding attention to detail.

- Good understanding of client service skills and teamwork.

- Exhibits appropriate professional business behaviour.
