Jason Greenhalgh
Director of Sport
One of Australia’s leading sports marketing and communications professionals, Jason has more than 30 years’ experience in sports management, media and PR, events and sponsorship, and has worked with Australia’s most successful sporting teams, brands and organisations.
He has managed media and sponsorship for the Wallabies, supported the Socceroos on the international stage, worked in-house managing the marketing and commercial teams at the Queensland Reds and Brisbane Broncos, and operated his own sport marketing consultancy for 20 years.
Queensland’s largest sports’ governing bodies for hockey, softball, and netball have all called on Jason’s expertise to help them negotiate, leverage and manage corporate partnerships and government funding. In total he has helped procure over $100 million in sponsorship and corporate partnerships throughout his career.
Jason also brings years of experience managing major sporting events like the Rugby World Cup, Brisbane Broncos corporate events and the Queensland PGA Golf Championship.
Jason is also the General Manager of the University of Queensland Rugby Club and is vice-Chairman of the Brisbane Broncos Leagues Club. He is also Chairman of their Audit, Remuneration & Risk Committee.
He is also on the Qld Committee of Children’s Cancer Charity, Redkite and was formerly the President of the Australian Marketing Institute (Qld).
