Tony Ryan is an associate in Rowland’s Training and Development team. Tony’s background is as a journalist and corporate communication specialist, and he brings this first-hand experience to his training workshops.

Tony has delivered business writing and effective communication training to clients across both the public and private sectors.

He combines his media industry experience with corporate knowledge to give training participants the inside running in dealing with key stakeholders, and how to tailor written materials to effectively respond and positively position an organisation. At Rowland, Tony has conducted business writing skills training for clients including Logan City Council and the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

He has also trained facilitators working in the approval stage of a major resource project in the Philippines.

Tony’s demonstrated experience and calm personality has served him well as a group trainer, and also as a facilitator for stakeholder reference groups on major infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.

In addition to writing skills training, Tony has provided issues management advice for a range of corporate clients, including major resource industry clients, infrastructure providers, agri-business operators, the education sector, Government Owned Corporations and major vehicle manufacturers.
