Role

A communication professional who supports the delivery of best practice communication strategy to achieve successful outcomes for clients

Qualifications and experience

  • You have supported the delivery of communication campaigns in your employment or as a student
  • You are confident in dealing with your Account Lead and developing your client engagement skills
  • You are building your network and ability to identify business development opportunities
  • You are building your experience* in a communication role including supporting project management, quality control and budget management:
    • * Senior Account Executive at least 2 years since graduation or comparable experience
    • * Account Executive graduate to 2 years subject to experience and development
  • You hold a relevant university qualification with a communication major

Report to

Group Account Director / Client Team Strategic Advisor and/or Account Lead

  • Build and maintain expertise in best practice communication strategy and apply to client projects

Work with the Strategic Advisor and/or Account Lead to support development of proposals which:

  • Outline best practice strategy and methodology
  • Demonstrate cost effectiveness and are commercially viable
  • Identify and mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
  • Exploit Rowland experience and service areas where possible.

Deliver project elements which:

  • Achieve successful outcomes
  • Are on time and on budget
  • Leverage Rowland capabilities
  • Produce communication materials which are original, fit-for-purpose, high readability score, error-free and deliver best practice communication.
Project management

  • Deliver high quality, error-free materials
  • Keep clients informed and nurtures client relationship
  • Include liaison with the Strategic Advisor and/or Account Lead to seek direction for managing client issues
  • Track and manage budgets
  • Manage effective workflow and utilisation of consulting resources
  • Manage and ensure document control and quality assurance
  • Capture IP, learnings and case studies for Rowland marketing materials
  • Ensure QA standards and Rowland systems are always adhered to.
