Talya Kaplan

Talya is a Senior Account Manager in Rowland’s Corporate Communication team, providing advice and support across a variety of industry sectors.
As an International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) accredited practitioner, she has proven skills in stakeholder engagement and community consultation across a range of industries including transport, government, property, and social infrastructure.
Renowned for her project management and process-driven approach, Talya has been involved in several stakeholder engagement projects, including:
- Implementation of the Instrument Landing System at Gold Coast Airport
- The GC2018 Draft Transport Operations Plan in collaboration with GOLDOC and Department of Transport and Main Roads
- Central and North Queensland Regional Transport Plans with the Department of Transport and Main Roads
- Several property development projects with Lendlease, Sekisui House, Charter Hall and Investa.
Talya is also highly skilled at managing several feedback channels for various projects and operations. She is responsible for responding to stakeholder enquiries and working with project teams to help resolve enquiries or complaints to the satisfaction of all parties.
Her work includes developing comprehensive issues and trend reports, and providing advice about proactive communication measures to meet stakeholders’ communication needs and project commitments.
She is experienced in legislative and regulatory-based stakeholder and community engagement, and understands the value of communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders to present timely and factual information so educated decisions can be made.
Talya is particularly adept at managing multiple streams of work, and her exceptional attention to detail ensures projects stay on track in accordance with project plans and budgets.
