Helping Youngcare tell its vital story
Rowland has been working with Youngcare — a national not-for-profit organisation fighting to make a difference to the lives of young people with disabilities — since 2016.
In an increasingly complex and competitive charity and disability services sector, Youngcare engaged Rowland to help establish the organisation as the leader to drive the charge and the change — political and operational — needed to meet the current and future needs of young people with complex and lifelong disabilities across Australia.
We began our relationship with Youngcare by establishing a new brand position that would help the charity tell its story in a consistent and compelling way.
We were then engaged to support the marketing and communication team on an ongoing basis, acting as an extension of the team to expand Youngcare’s reach and amplify the organisation’s voice on an issue that affects so many young Australians and their loved ones.
We have successfully shared this story with millions of people across the country in print, online, via social media influencers, podcasts and digital platforms.
We continue to work with Youngcare as it increases its presence nationally, introducing new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes and leveraging its first-ever national ambassador, Today Extra host Sylvia Jeffreys.
We also help to raise awareness of its vital fundraising initiatives through targeted media relations, including but not limited to, Giving Day, Tales from the Road, Y Women, Simpson Desert Challenge and Tax Appeals.
