Emma is a highly skilled corporate communication practitioner, with 20 years’ experience in consultancy and in-house communication roles in Australia and Europe.

With expertise in corporate strategy and positioning, issues and reputation management, internal communication, writing and editing, and communication training and development — Emma honed her skills while working with some of Australia’s leading and largest organisations.

Communication is at the heart of everything. Relationships, team culture, reputation — it all hinges on engaging, authentic, and powerful communication.

Known for her attention to detail and practical, calm approach, Emma is a trusted advisor and ‘steady hand’ for clients, particularly when working on often complex, challenging and high-profile issues.

Throughout her career, Emma has worked for clients across a range of industry sectors, especially in the education, professional services, mining and resources, energy, and government industries.

Emma has a passion for the written word and enjoys writing and editing projects, tender preparation, and developing website and social media copy.

In addition, Emma has experience specialising in change and communication, strategy, and innovation.

Emma has managed internal communication for EirGrid, Ireland’s national electricity transmission operator; and worked for international communication consultancy Hill & Knowlton in London. She has also worked in-house for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
