Nicola is an Account Director in Rowland’s Corporate Communication team, providing advice and support to clients across a variety of industry sectors.

With over 17 years’ experience, Nicola has proven skills in corporate communication, stakeholder engagement, community consultation, media relations and issues and crisis management, and works across government, utilities, infrastructure, mining, energy and resources and community sectors.

Simplifying complex communication fosters understanding and builds stronger connections. I love how clear, concise messaging distils ideas to make them accessible, impactful, and memorable.

Renowned for her project management and process-driven approach, Nicola has been involved in a number of complex stakeholder engagement projects with clients including:

Currently she is supporting St Vincent de Paul Society in both Queensland and Northern Territory to help raise awareness of homelessness and housing issues.

Nicola’s expertise extends to working alongside project teams to provide communication advice and support for state government initiatives, including major water and wastewater upgrades, sensitive capital works projects, and major renewable energy projects.

She is considered as an all-rounder, and helps clients deconstruct complexity to create clear and concise communication materials and strategies that achieve real impact.

Known for her strong project management skills, personable and professional approach and attention to detail, Nicola is adept at building productive working relationships to achieve desired outcomes and ensures projects stay on track in accordance with project plans and budgets.
