Coexistence Queensland Website Project

Creating tailored experiences that connect people with what matters most

Coexistence Queensland’s website needed to support growing volumes of content and diverse stakeholder needs while making information easier to navigate and understand.

Rowland approached the redevelopment with a strong focus on user experience, underpinned by a discovery-led process and involved consumer user testing. This provided valuable insight into how audiences navigate content, interact with information and move through key journeys, directly shaping the structure, UX and design decisions across the site.

A significant visual and UX uplift introduced a cleaner, more contemporary design, improving readability and accessibility while creating a more intuitive and engaging experience across devices. This was supported by a clearer information architecture and more considered user pathways, ensuring the site works effectively for multiple audience groups.

Improving content discovery was a key priority. Filtering across industry, content type and audience was introduced to help users quickly find relevant information, alongside enhancements to the news and resources experience. Featured content functionality and automated content logic allow priority information to be surfaced more effectively, creating a more dynamic and scalable content experience.

The result is a modern, accessible and user-focused website that better reflects Coexistence Queensland’s role as a central source of information. With clearer navigation, stronger content discoverability and a more engaging user experience, the platform provides a solid foundation for ongoing growth and continued engagement with its diverse audiences.
