With over 20 years’ experience spanning journalism, government and corporate affairs, Shannon has proven expertise in media relations, stakeholder engagement, issues and crisis management, and strategic communication.
Shannon has worked on some of Queensland’s most high-profile and complex initiatives, including Brisbane 2032, Cross River Rail and the Gabba Entertainment and Housing Precinct.
He specialises in shaping clear, compelling narratives for complex policy and infrastructure projects, helping build understanding, trust and social licence among diverse stakeholders.
A former senior journalist, Shannon brings a deep understanding of the media landscape and how to position organisations and projects effectively.
