A unified brand for three entities, each with very different names
Language Disorder Australia (previously SALDA) is the parent company in a network of professionals and services for children and young people with Language Disorder, including an independent school in Brisbane and several allied health clinics across Queensland.

The challenge was to create a unified brand, and to ensure that users of the school or the clinics were aware of the parent company.
A distinctive typeface and primary colour palette provided the visual cohesion for three entities, and the negative space in the letter L formed the silhouette of a door used for the Bright Door clinics, which when rotated, formed the speech bubble that became an integral part of the brand across all entities.
Rowland developed a sophisticated brand system with a consistent personality, language and visual identity which has been successful in uniting the school, clinics and parent company.
